Day 01 : Arrival Trivandrum / Kovalam Today arrival at Trivandrum airport. Excel’s representative will meet you as you exit the arrival terminal building after which you would drive to Kovalam (17 Kms/30 Minutes). Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure on beach.

Day 02: Kovalam > Excursion to Kanyakumari (95 Kms/3 hrs one way)
After breakfast proceed for a day trip to Kanyakumari, also known as Kanniyakumari in Tamil Language. It is the confluence point of three oceans - the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. It is also a vital Hindu pilgrim center, renowned for its exotic sunrises and sunsets over the horizon. One of the unique features of Kanyakumari is the multicolored sand found on its beach. Visit Padmanabha Puram Palace & Suchindram Temple en-route & Vivekananda Rock at Kanyakumari.

Day 04: Kovalam > Alleppey (175 Kms/4 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Alleppey, "Venice of the east" is one of the most important tourist centers in the state. These large network of canals provide Alleppey its lifeline. Alleppey was one of the busiest centers of trade in the past with one of the best known ports along the malabar coast. Day 05: Alleppey > Kumarakom > Thekkady (130 Kms/4 hrs)
After some more sightseeing through the narrow canals, disembark from the houseboat at Kumarakom & proceed to Thekkady is one of India's most fascinating natural wildlife sanctuaries, where you can watch wildlife at close range. The vegetation, the flora and fauna and the birds of Thekkady are uniquely rich, vast and varied that it does not bear resemblance to any other wildlife sanctuaries in the world.

Day 06: In Thekkady
Early in the morning visit the famed Periyar Wild Life Sanctuary & enjoy a cruise on Lake Periyar. During the boat ride, spot the wild life (elephants, Indian Gaur, monkeys, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar & birds of myriad varieties). With an area of 777 sq. kms, this Sanctuary lies at an elevation of 914 mts. above sea level in the hills of the Western Ghats.

Day 07: Thekkady > Munnar (98 Kms/3 hrs)
After breakfast proceed to Munnar, one of the most popular hill stations in southern India known for its sprawling tea gardens. Munnar was the favored summer resort of the erstwhile British rulers in the colonial days. Enjoying the scenic beauty & the plantations of Rubber, Cardamom, Tea & Coffee en-route. Morning at leisure.
